 A Family Affair - The history of the Stevens Family Business begins with Richard "Dick" Stevens and Stevens Engineering Associates. Opened in 1975, the small engineering firm provided civil, structural and architectural engineering services to a rapidly growing Orlando. Many of Richard's clients still come to us for architecture & construction services. Having clients for over 30 years is a testament to how important clients are to the Stevens Family.

John Stevens obtained his commercial building contractors license in 1996 and formed his construction company Stevens, Inc. in 1999. 

Richard was a firm believer in maintaining client trust and providing exceptional service.  Notable project clients included The Angebilt Hotel, ABC Fine Wine and Spirits, Personal Mini Storage, Jim Bankston Properties, Paul Davis Systems and Equalizer, Inc

John Stevens obtained his Architecture License in 2001 and realizes his goal to bring true design-build to Orlando.

National Council Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) certification allows John to have an architecture license in all 50 states as well as the United Kingdom and European Union.  John is currently licensed in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Colorado. 

John is currently licensed in the following states:

John is currently licensed as a Commercial Building Contractor with a Florida license CBC057825.  He is also a licensed general contractor and roofing contractor in Colorado with Pikes Peak Regional Building Dept #25999.

In 2014 John created JK Stevens Roofing, Inc with Florida License CCC1330561 to better serve the Orlando area.  We offer a full range of roofing services, from repairs to new installations. Our team of experts uses only the highest quality materials and techniques to ensure that your roof is built to last.
